Sarah Schumann is an employed attorney for our law firm since June 2016 and corresponding to her focuses of interest she especially work in the fields of Competition Law, Copyright Law, Labour Law and Online Reputation Management.
During her years of study she already worked with us as a student research assistant. After successfully passing the first state examination and graduating university holding a juridical diploma she continued to work at our law firm and could hereby collect versatile experiences for her current occupation.
Her interest for the field of Competition Law already began to grow during her time as a student research assistant, within which she later specialised in during her elective attorney stage as a trainee attorney. During this period she could deepen her knowledge due to experiencing several lawsuits.
Sarah Schumann completed her legal clerkship from 2014 to 2016 at the District Court of Hechingen, where she - amongst other things – worked for the chief judge of the 2nd civil division during her civil station and for a labour law concentrated law firm in Reutlingen during her elective station.
During her study period at the Eberhard-Karls University of Tübingen she specialised in labour and social affairs in business companies for the university organised part of the state examination. In this context she wrote a research paper with the topic “requirements for an OT-Membership based on the decision of BAG, 20. May 2009 – 4 AZR 179/08”.
In addition to her big interest for law Sarah Schumann also enjoys standard dancing and likes to drive motorcycle as well as to go skiing.
